UC3M holds YUFE Day

5/8/24

The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is holding YUFE Day on Wednesday the 8th of May, a fun-filled event on the Getafe and Leganés campuses to increase awareness of the YUFE alliance among the university community. Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) is a network made up of ten young universities leading research and teaching, including UC3M, and two collaborating partners.

Between 10:15 am and 5:15 pm, games on alliance knowledge, entrepreneurship and innovation, and volunteering will take place on both campuses.

In addition, the YUFE menu will be on offer throughout the week, consisting of typical dishes from the places where the partner universities are located.

YUFE's goal is to achieve a more diverse, effective and equitable education system both in Europe and worldwide.

This alliance offers our university community specific programmes for each group (students, teaching staff and technical, management and administration and services staff (PTGAS, in its Spanish acronym)) and the possibility of carrying out a mobility programme and studies in all partner universities, as well as training programmes in entrepreneurship or language courses and activities, among other advantages.

The universities that make up this network are: Antwerp (Belgium) Bremen (Germany), Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), Cyprus (Cyprus), Essex (England), Eastern Finland (Finland), Maastricht (Netherlands), Nicolaus Copernicus (Poland), Rijeka (Croatia) and Sorbonne Nouvelle (France). The collaborating partners are ETS Global and The Adecco Group.
